About Me

I am a retired hospice social worker and the author of Dreams at the Threshold: Guidance, Comfort and Healing at the End of Life (2015), and Premonitions in Daily life (2013).

I have worked with people facing life-threatening illness for more than twenty-five years as a medical social worker, hospice volunteer, and spiritual counselor. My life-long interest in dreams led me to incorporate dream appreciation into my hospice work, which eventually became the basis for my second book, Dreams at the Threshold.

Now I write about end-of-life care and dreams, and volunteer at a children's hospice where I play games and sing rhymes and lullabies. I am a frequent presenter for the International Association for the Study of Dreams, and lead a monthly Meetup group on dreams and dreaming in Toronto.
